We don't claim to be expert writers but we do know our stuff about plants and do the best to provide you with what we think might be the most noteworthy characteristics of a specific plant. Just above the special attributes section you'll find the USDA Plant Hardiness Zones which indicate the areas of the country where the plant is hardy outdoors. 

In this section we usually provide the mature height and width of the plant or tree and what we consider to be the ideal uses in landscape design. If relevant, you'll all find suggested "on center" plant spacing here. "On center" means from the center of one plant in a row or grouping to the center of the next plant. 

Here we provide basic information about the plants soil and light preferences. Sometimes we talk a little about specific maintenance needs.
